Our Story
Studio South Atlanta LLC is a full-service acting studio on the Southside of Atlanta, GA, dedicated to cultivating a creative community and celebrating diverse voices.
Studio South Atlanta initially began as a talent agency, with clients booking modeling jobs, national commercials, and television pilots within the first few months. Original founder, Jackie Zwick, quickly realized more than agency representation, her talent needed on-camera training. So, the agency transitioned into an acting studio and students began to flourish. Talent began seeing casting directors like Mark Fincannon, Chez Griffin, and Brian Beegle (formerly of Stilwell Casting). Students also started getting signed to top Atlanta agencies like People Store, Houghton Talent, and Jana Van Dyke along with top agencies in California and New York (including Ursula Wiedmann Talent, East Coast Talent, and J.Pervis) and have read for big-time casting directors like Jackie Burch, George Pierre, Tara Feldstein/Chase Paris, and Rita Harrell/Jen Kelley (Big Picture Casting). Talent has booked principal, supporting, and featured roles in national commercials, local industrials, episodic television shows, tv pilots, documentary series, reality competitions, independent films, short films, feature films, voice-over spots, and modeling jobs. Projects include Cobra Kai (Netflix), Antlers (Fox Searchlight), Night School (Universal Pictures), Delta Airlines, and Haverty’s Furniture, just to name a few. Former students of Zwick’s, Meghan Coyle and Jayson Goldman accepted directorship of the studio in late summer 2024, ushering in a vision to expand course offerings to include behind the camera training as well.
Co-Owners Meghan Coyle and Jayson Goldman are committed to collaborating with coaches who are passionate about providing sound guidance to teens and adults to pursue a career that is fulfilling, challenging, creative, and fun. Studio South Atlanta looks forward to working with actors of all ages, genders, backgrounds, and abilities and aims to create an inclusive space for talent to create, learn, grow, and thrive with comfort, class, and confidence.
